LoemMail - The Damn Simple Blog By Email
Komentar(6) After so many times since my last wordpres plugin loemtube (embedded youtube into wordpress), this day i have developed new wordpress plugin for blog by email. this plugin has modified wp-mail.php which belong to wordpress for supporting tags, categories and author which will automatically inserted without admin intervention and email configuration still using wordpress blog by email configuration.
How To Use It?
1. download the source,extract it and upload into {wordpress-path}/wp-content/plugins directory
2. activate plugins
3. Content will be grabbed when user access your blog.
What is Email Format ?
Title of content will be grabbed from subject mail, and another support (tags,categories,author) must be included in body mail. for more details you can see example below
tags: php, wordpress (for multiple tags separated by comma)
categories: programming,php
author: you (it will create author automatically with random password if u don’t have author mentioned in author format)
This is content of your posting.
as u see above, it’s very nice and easy format. if you don’t need the tag you not need to mention it.
What is not supported by this plugin?
- Attachment
- MIME Mail (such as HTML,it’s only support text/plain mail). but if u want to include your html into your posting you still can send it but copy the source of your HTML and send it as text/plain mail.
- Remove Signature (such as free email usually have automatic signature like ad on belowest content).
Happy enjoy with this plugin, you will not charge by use it. and you can develop higher version with this source. please give me feedback if this plugin have bugs.
